Dancing with the Stars Athletes

I watched ABC's Dancing with the Stars Season 26 - dancing with the stars ATHLETES. It was a very short season, only four weeks.

Ten athletes competed in this season, including Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Jennie Finch Daigle, Jamie Anderson, and Tonya Harding.

One of the basketball legend, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is now 70 or 71 years old. But you could tell that he had some sort of dance experience, such as jazz, or hip hop when he was younger. Probably no hip hop.

One would probably wonder, if other basketball legends would be on the DWTS one day, such as Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, or Magic Johnson. Michael Jordan is now 55, Larry Bird is 61, and Magic Johnson is 58. Actually Magic Johnson appeared on the show, but he didn't compete. He gave Kareem Abdul-Jabbar some advice, tips, and encouragement.

Jennie Finch's USA Softball team won the silver medal in the 2008 Olympic Games. And they wouldn't have a chance to compete for the gold in 2012. Because softball was taken out from the olympic programme for 2012 and 2016. I remember that I saw her crying on TV for losing the final.

Jamie Anderson doesn't seem to have any dance experience, and was eliminated in episode 1. However, she is young, and can move. I guess she can learn it fast if there's enough time.

Tonya Harding looks old. Not that she is really old. I mean she probably looks older than her real age. But she gave it all. Especially in the final freestyle dance. All three judges gave her the perfect 10.
